Story
It all began 11 years ago at a March Break party in high school. Who knew that choosing to be teammates for a “friendly” (but very competitive) game of beer pong would one day lead us to choosing forever?
From our first “proposal” being prom, life somehow fast-tracked into a decade of growing up side by side.
For five years, we lived in different cities — Christy at Queen’s, Eric at Waterloo. We squeezed in visits over holidays and made do with countless late-night phone calls. It wasn’t easy, but every goodbye made every hello that much sweeter.
Looking back, from our very first trip to Niagara Falls to exploring 7 countries and counting together, travel has become one of our favourite ways to write our story — and we can’t wait to see where in the world we’ll go as we enter this new chapter.
In our hometown where it all began, we’ve created our special place we call home with our Luna girl. She’s shown us what unconditional love looks like, what constant teamwork feels like, and a little glimpse of what parenthood might look like one day.
Our past 11 years have taught us how to grow up together — whether miles apart or spending 24/7 together — and today we are so excited to grow old together, forever and ever.

Prom Dates
The first proposal that started our story.
- 2016
Our First Trip to Niagara Falls
We hit the road for our first overnight trip together to visit the falls. Little did we know, it was the first of many travel adventures.
- 2018
Christy Visits Eric in San Francisco
Eric landed an internship in SF — our first international adventure together. We explored a new city and watched the Golden State Warriors score a buzzer beater.
- 2019
Christy’s Graduation
Christy graduated from Queen’s in 2019 — one of many graduations and milestones we celebrated together. Moving out of Kingston meant shortening our mileage apart.

Bringing Home Our Luna Girl
A forever special summer for us. Luna has been one of the greatest things that’s ever happened to us — she made us a family.

Moving Back to Our Hometown
After 4 years of living in downtown Toronto, we made the move back to Unionville, where our story began. We love being close to our families and planting our roots.

The Big YES
9 years together felt like the right time to say yes to forever. Eric tricked Christy into a spontaneous cottage trip and popped the big question. September 24th marked the start of our forever story.

Wedding Planning
Over the past year, we’ve been busy planning this special day — and we’re so grateful to have all of our favourite people here to celebrate with us.

Forever — and Switzerland
Today we say I do, and then it’s off to Switzerland for our honeymoon. Next chapter, here we come.
